I have kits now available on my website. These kits will compliment most all patterns including the foam book suggestions. So grab a copy of the foam book and DVD, and lets get building.

We borrowed an idea from another puppet team in Austin Texas that we met at One Way Street Puppet workshop.  They had prop stand of coffee can with cement that had short PVC pipe embedded. They used slightly smaller PVC pipe placed into the wider pipe in cement footing to hold up props.  We made a portable PVC stage and got buckets with handles at Home Depot for our footers.  We did not have to fill them completely with cement, the handles helped to carry.  An added benefit was that one person could set up the stage since the footers held the pipes up for you.  We placed heavy dowels in the hem of the stage curtains and most of the time this kept the stage from blowing away.  Some days we had to have parents volunteer to put their feet on the dowels in the hem to hold them down on gusty days.  If we thought there was a hint of rain we always cancelled out door show.  One time we put lattice work over the stage curtain for more support, pretty but not very portable.  Sorry I just gave the whole stage away a couple of weeks ago to new puppet team or I would show you pictures.

I buy all my eyes from CR's Craft (crscraft.com ) as they have excellent prices and they are fast at shipping your order.
They also have the "doll joints" shown in the dvd.
Hope this helps someone.
