Sue, that is very cool!  Is it painted with black light paint?  I love how you exaggerated the jaw.  Very nice!

Hey you all,

Just want to show you my last creation:

I would like to introduce you all to Mike... he really likes to surf. And because of the fact that he lives in Amsterdam and the way he looks out of his eyes I guess he likes to smoke something too...

Hello SS puppets...what do you think about the gibsonbrothers? Wink

Real nice to hear about your comments! The hair is just a hairpiece which females use to tie around a ponytail... I cut it open and pinned it on the head. And there you will find the twisted hair!

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your suggestion! The only thing is that Flo sound like the Dutch Vlo, and that means Flea Tongue... Si I don't think that's going to be her name. But thanks anyway  Wink

Sorry to be so long in replying to this question. Yes the foam is painted with florescent paint from WalMart. He was done for a parody of Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid. Whenever I paint foam I spray a coat of SM 77 spray glue first. Allow to dry completely then spray with choice of color. When painting for Blacklight, I actually paint in the dark with blacklights on to get the exact look I want.

These are all some good-looking puppets! Smiley  Nice job, everyone.

Here's one I made a while back using the Three-Piece Head method.  I don't know if everyone is familiar with the TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," but in one episode ("Smiletime") two of the characters were turned into puppets.  Grin  It was a popular episode, and there were several commercially-made versions of the puppets produced for sale; but as one friend of mine told me, they just didn't look quite right.  So I made him his own puppet of the "Angel" character using tips and tricks from the Foam Book (as well as some materials purchased from Grey Seal!), and he was very happy with it. Here's a photo of the finished puppet:

Sorry about the quality of the photo--it's a scan, so it's not the best, but it gives an idea of what the puppet looks like.  The Foam Book was definitely a big help!
